Bleeding Heart Vine (Clerodendrum thomsoniae) (grows in sun or shade). Grow as a beautiful vine or grow as a shrub.

Bleeding heart vine has been one of our best selling vines for many years. It produces tons of flowers and can be trimmed to just about any desirable size. Flowers are seen year round, more during the warmer months of the year. Beautiful foliage. Grows in shade or sun. Grow it in the shade for nicer foliage. Grow it in the sun for maximum flowers. A good trim is recommended. Flowers sprout on new growth. Provide a structure for it to climb on or keep it trimmed as a shrub. This is a tropical plant. Protect from freezing temperatures.

Light: Grow in partial shade. Best results occur with morning sun and afternoon shade.
Moisture: Bleeding heart likes high humidity and a moist, but not soggy, soil.
Hardiness: USDA Zones 9-12. (minimum temperatures to high 20's)
